My career as a graphic designer started in 1997 at the School Study Council of Ohio. After receiving my degree in Graphic Communication from CSCC, I began working at Columbus Alive as an Art Director. I worked closely with the marketing staff, advertisers and editors to hone my advertising skills. I was employed with the McGraw-Hill Companies from 2000-2005, where I was responsible for designing multiple education programs, book cover development, and package design.
In 2005, I decided to apply the art of design and identity to my own freelance work, so I launched the marxvisual business. And have never looked back.
